Scott Oatman is a California native with real estate in his DNA. Raised in Newport Beach and shaped by years in the Bay Area, Scott comes from a family deeply rooted in the built environment. Both of his parents are architects, and his grandfather was a broker and real estate developer. Long before earning his real estate license, Scott gained hands on experience managing commercial and mixed use properties for his family’s business, giving him a practical, behind the scenes understanding of how properties truly function.

Before real estate, Scott built a diverse career in the creative and event industries. He worked as a stagehand, carpenter’s assistant, and warehouse manager, then went on to serve as a creative director at a mobile advertising agency. His background is rounded out by formal studies in music and visual arts, which continue to influence how he sees space, design, and potential.

Scott specializes in working with creative clients such as artists, musicians, and makers who need spaces that inspire. This includes homes with room for art studios, home recording setups, or flexible creative use. At the same time, he appreciates the details that make a house feel like home, from a beautifully designed kitchen to a thoughtfully planned bathroom.
